LASER CUTTING & ENGRAVING
The laser cutter reads hairline (0.01mm) vector lines. It has incredible accuracy, and we can control the speed and power of the laser to get the best finish for each material we use.
>File in mm
>Line thickness- Hairline or 0.01mm
>Confirm sizing of object
>Check width of cut-outs (vulnerable parts should be no less than the material thickness)
>Remove any stray lines/ shapes and double/ overlapping lines.
>Ensure vectors are all outline- not infilled
>Combine curves of objects
>Convert Text to curves, or embed font in file.
>Allow suitable margin & space between cut objects (no less than 2mm or material thickness)
>Set file colour to RGB- Red- Engrave area Blue- Score line Green- Inner cut line Black- Outer cut line
>Save As - PDF, EPS, AI, CDR, DXF
